Igniting sustainable growth and impact for small and medium-sized enterprises

Join the SPARK Community to Accelerate Progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals

SPARK is a global community designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) participating in the UN Global Compact, who are the critical drivers of job creation, poverty reduction and sustainable economic growth. SPARK facilitates the exchange of best practices with some of the most innovative and influential SMEs around the world, builds knowledge and internal capacity, and forms partnerships to accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

By joining SPARK, members gain access to practical tools and robust networking opportunities, gaining actionable insights from industry leaders and UN Global Compact experts. Recognizing that SMEs often face competing priorities with limited resources, SPARK allows flexibility for members to complete live workshops and on-demand courses on adopting net-zero practices, securing access to finance, mainstreaming inclusion into their business practices, and fulfilling sustainability reporting requirements aligned with emerging regulations.

Based on their geographical location, members also benefit from a range of tailored case studies, region-specific workshops and events to better address their specific needs. All resources are available in a variety of languages on the UN Global Compact's online learning platform, the Academy, which is accessible from anywhere in the world.
