UN Global Compact at the Africa CEO Forum
The United Nations Global Compact will be in Kigali for the 2026 Africa CEO Forum on 14 and 15 May, with a delegation led by Assistant Secretary-General & CEO of the UN Global Compact, Ms Sanda Ojiambo. As the continent’s premier gathering of business leaders, the forum brings together over 2,000 CEOs, investors, and heads of state & governments at the Kigali Convention Centre, under the theme “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership” to shape the future of Africa.
Throughout the two-day event, the UN Global Compact will host a series of strategic sessions focused on regional trade, sustainable investment, and the expansion of our local footprint in East Africa.

- 12:30 pm | Africa Business Leaders Coalition (ABLC) Trade Paper Launch
Join us for the unveiling of our latest position paper. This session will outline actionable strategies for the private sector to bridge trade gaps and fully leverage the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) for sustainable industrialisation.

A high-level dialogue focused on positioning Africa as a premier destination for global investment. We will discuss how to scale sustainable solutions that resonate on the world stage and drive long-term value.
