Business SDG Awards 2024

Empowering Private-Sector Engagement for a Better Future

In a significant stride towards achieving sustainable development, the Business SDG Awards 2024 recognized outstanding corporate efforts in advancing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework. Held on September 6, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Dar es Salaam, the gala brought together a dynamic array of participants committed to the SDGs.


The awards featured five categories: People, Prosperity, Planet, Peace, and Partnership, recognizing organizations making significant strides in addressing critical issues. The winners were:

  • Partnership: Africa HealthTech Limited

NGO Sector:

  • Overall Winner: CRDB Foundation
  • People: CRDB Foundation
  • Prosperity: Wima Kakute Projects
  • Partnership: Afya Check


The Business SDG Awards aim to increase private-sector engagement with the SDGs framework through competition, fostering innovation, scalability, and inspiration.
